in answer to your question, I like the black and white version of the picture of the father and child. Her face almost glows and this version pulls me right in to look at their eyes.
I like the way the picture is cropped, just above the end of her hood. it makes her look like she is wearing a cape and just stepped out of the 10th century.
This child and her father had their dog with them and they stopped to let him play with ours. They too were looking for plants at the Gowanus Nursery.
